I work as Vice-president of Sectors and Knowledge at the Interamerican Development Bank. I am a former Professor at the School of Economics in Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) . My research focuses on the microeconomic analysis of internal armed conflict . Most of my research focuses on the economic costs of crime and conflict. My research also studies the causes and consequencues of economic and forced migration.
